I took this photo of a banana spider in Miami, FL this past october, there were dozens of them in the trees above my head. Just figured I'd post it, considering tonight's theme.

Dude. I literally, like just 3 minutes ago, found the second biggest spider I've seen in my life hanging out in my basement. I killed it with a tire iron.

That's insane. I'm not usually scared of spiders, usually intrigued more than anything, but I was having none of it tonight haha

Whats insane is how many I saw feet from each other. They are poisonous to humans, but mainly feed on insects, so if you leave them alone they'll leave you alone
